Assessment through the year keeps every student's progress visible to teachers and parents alike.
Short unit tests through each term check ongoing understanding, followed by a comprehensive term examination covering the full syllabus taught up to that point.
Final-year students sit the HS (Higher Secondary) board examinations conducted by the state board, while other classes take the school's annual promotion exam.
Science and vocational subjects include practical assessments and project submissions as part of the overall evaluation.
Report cards are shared with parents after every term, along with a parent-teacher meeting to discuss each student's progress.
The dates below are announced at the start of each academic session. Contact the school office for the confirmed schedule for the current session.
A few reminders that apply to every unit test, term exam and board examination.
Students must carry their school ID card (and admit card, where issued) to every examination. Duplicates can be requested from the office in advance.
Only permitted stationery — pens, pencils, geometry box, and calculators where allowed for the subject — may be brought into the exam hall.
Students need the minimum attendance percentage set by the school to be eligible to sit the term and annual examinations.
Punctuality, silence and following the invigilator's instructions are expected in every examination hall, in line with the school's code of conduct.
